SDG: 4

It always seems impossible until it’s done

Rosie Linder
PEPPY PALS
As a parent, Rosie realized that there were not many playful ways for children and parents to practice EQ (social and emotional skills) together. With two daughters growing up in the digital era, Rosie was inspired to create children's games that were both fun and meaningful. She thought games could be used as a bridge between kids and adults to inspire dialogue about EQ. Today Peppy Pals has reached 500 000 children globally and is supported by LEGO Ventures.

Project

Peppy Pals is the leading creator of playful and digital experiences for lifelong, social and emotional learning (EQ/SEL). They have created a series of award-winning language-free apps, books, movies, toys and activities designed for children in the ages of two to eight. Through the five gender-neutral animal friends, children will learn important skills such as managing emotions, empathy, grit and collaboration.

Impact story

“My daughter is 5 and the youngest of 3. She often gets frustrated that she can not get a word in with her older siblings and sometimes loses her temper. We are trying techniques to help her take a step back, and we see that using Peppy Pals is a great way for her to remove herself from the situation, think and stay in control!”, Brett Wigdortz says.
